Q. I don't live in Pasco County. Can I use the Library?
If you are close to one of our libraries and want to use the reference services, use Internet pc's, or use the materials in the library, you are welcome to do so. If you are a patron of any of the libraries with which we have a reciprocal borrowing agreement, you may register for a library card. Information on reciprocal borrower registration can be found here.

Q. Can I check my library account from home?
Yes. You can see the titles you have checked-out, you can see the holds you have placed, and you can check for fines and fees that have been accrued to your record. Just click here to access your account. You will need your library card information.

Q. Where are my bookletter pages like Chapter a Day and Meet the Author?
As of September 15, 2009, we will no longer be carrying the following Bookletters: Libros en Espanol, BooksTV, Chapter a Day, Meet the Author, and Meet the Illustrator.

Q. How do I get a library card?
You can come to any library location and register. All the information you need about registration is here.

Q. What should I do if I lose my library card? Since you are responsible for everything checked-out out on your library card, the first thing you should do is notify the library that the card is lost. We will make your card inactive so that no one else can use it. Then, the next time you are in the library, you can get a new card simply by showing an ID. The fee for a replacement card is $1.00. Everything that was on your record, such as the materials you had checked out, holds you had placed, fines, etc., will move to your new card number automatically.
