Pasco County Libraries will CLOSE at 5PM Wednesday, December 24 and will be CLOSED Thursday, December 25 - Saturday, December 27 in observance of Christmas holiday. Zephyrhills Public Library will be closed Wednesday, December 24. Zephyrhills Public Library will reopen Friday, December 26. Starkey Ranch Public Library will reopen Sunday, December 28. All Pasco County libraries will reopen to the public at their regularly scheduled times on Monday, December 29.
Pasco County Libraries will CLOSE at 5PM Wednesday, December 31 and will be CLOSED Thursday, January 1 - Friday, January 2 in observance of New Years. Zephyrhills Public Library will reopen Friday, January 2. All Pasco County libraries will reopen to the public at their regularly scheduled times on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

In any case where a patron would like to appeal a policy decision, the appeal may be placed as follows: 

  1. Branch Manager or Supervisor in charge of facility.

  2. Library Director: The Library Director is responsible for the supervision of all library operations.

  3. Assistant County Administrator for Public Services: The Assistant County Administrator for Public Services oversees several departments including the Libraries Department.

  4. County Administrator: The County Administrator is the supervisor of all County operations.

  5. Board of County Commissioners (BCC): The BCC is the final authority on all County operations.

Appeals may be placed by telephone, email, in writing, or in person. Email and written appeals become public documents.
