Participate in our virtual reading quests throughout the year using Beanstack!
Kids, teens, and adults can track their reading minutes, write book reviews, and participate in fun activities to earn digital badges.
What is Beanstack?
- Beanstack is a website and app that promotes reading through various quests and activities. Track your reading and earn digital badges from completing quests ! During Summer Reading Quest, participants who complete the quest are entered into drawings for prizes!
Can you register multiple readers on an account?
- Yes, you can set up as many profiles as you'd like for readers of any age! This feature is great for families, schools, or other groups. You can easily log reading for multiple profiles at one time.
Is there an app?
- Beanstack is available on all mobile devices. Download on the Apple Store and on the Google Play Store.
How do I join a Reading Quest?
- Once you're registered, available quests will be on your main page. Simply click a quest to join and start logging!

Makerspace May 2025

This month, dive into Makerspaces at Pasco Libraries! Makerspaces are creative hubs where you can craft, learn, design, experiment, and construct. They emphasize hands-on exploration and creativity. Discover the variety of Makerspaces available at our branches!
Complete the challenge by logging 10 hours of reading and completing 7 activity badges.
When you complete the challenge by the end of the month, you will be entered into a drawing for a special library-themed tote bag filled with goods created in our very own Makerspaces!
Once Upon a Summer Reading Quest
For All Ages | May 18, 2025 - Aug 2, 2025
Get ready to turn the page on an ordinary summer and step into a storybook world of imagination and adventure! We invite readers of all ages to join Once Upon a Summer Reading Quest! Log your reading and complete activities to earn badges.
When you log 600 minutes of reading, you will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa Gift Card at the end of the quest!
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
For Ages 0 - 5 | Ongoing
This program encourages all Pasco County area families and caregivers to read 1,000 books with their young children before they enter kindergarten. Log reading and earn badges all along the way.
Complete the quest by reading 1,000 books including repeat reads.
Patrons of all ages may enter to win prizes by completing quests through Beanstack (pascolibraries.beanstack.org). Each Pasco County library branch may offer additional prizes with varying requirements. Participation in the Beanstack reading quests is not required, but winning individuals must be present to pick up the prize at a Pasco County Library branch.
