Lori Crone’s professional career spans over 30 years and includes being an art director at a sign company and working in creative services at an amusement park. Crone is currently the Vice President on the Board of Dade City Center for the Arts and has dedicated her career to enhancing people's lives through art. Inspired by nature, she loves to create anything from pebble art, drawings, paintings, woodworking, graphic design, murals and more.

After spending her entire life in Ohio, she and her husband decided to take a leap of faith and start a new adventure in Florida this past spring, where they found their charming new home in Dade City. Her creativity keeps her constantly inspired and active, selling her pieces at local vendor markets, working as a freelance graphic designer, and accepting commissioned artwork.

Artist: Ashley Urban

On display at the New River Library

Ashley Urban is a well-known artist in Tarpon Springs, who does not let anything stand in the way of her dreams. Ashley has presented her work at the West Pasco Art Guild, Dunedin Fine Art Center, and Paint the Town Citrus in Carrollwood. Among her many talents, Ashley is a skilled painter and marvelous harp player. Ashley’s interest in art and music developed after being diagnosed with high functioning autism. Her creative skills have enabled her to work professionally as an artist.

Artist: Valeriia Lazebniuk

Valeriia Lazebniuk is a Ukrainian artist from Kherson that currently resides in Florida. Lazebniuk enjoys merging academic traditions with contemporary experimentation by combining painting, graphics and digital art. Through her art, Lazebniuk shares themes of inner experiences, cultural heritage and the search for harmony. Lazebniuk has a master’s degree in Fine Arts and Design and participates in exhibitions, such as the Women’s History Month Exhibition at the University of South Florida.

Artist: Gillian Graffy

Gillian Graffy is always open to trying new things when it comes to expanding her love of art and color. Graffy’s artistic journey began with Chinese brush painting, now sharing the mastery of this skill with others wishing to learn. In retirement, Graffy has ventured into watercolors, particularly the pouring technique, and painting Florida scenery with acrylics on canvas. Graffy is a member of the Miniature Art Society of Florida (MASF) and regularly participates in the International Miniature Show.
